I was originally told that the transfer would be seamless and I would have to do nothing. I signed a contract for the residential service. The morning the account was supposed to be switched, the business account was turned off, but no residential service. I called Comcast support and after talking to five different people who were supposedly changing everything over to the residential service, IT STILL DID NOT WORK!!! I was then told I would need to switch the router, in spite of being assured that the router I had would work. So, I had to travel to the nearest Xfinity store in Everett, which involves taking a ferry from the island I live on. See the photo for the Xfinity store. I will be switching to Starlink soon.
