We signed up with Xfinity for home Internet when we moved and the promotion was one year of mobile with unlimited data for free with the Internet plan and then Xfinity gives you a credit if you bring your number over. So we made an appointment for a Sunday afternoon, tell the lady helping us all of this. She says she has to run our credit, we said ok because she was being pushy and just doing what sales people do. Ok fine whatever no big deal. Tells us we qualify for 8 lines and $2,500 in phone credit. Again, we tell her great but that's not what we are here for. She says I have two options. Either pick some cheap galaxy phone and get the phone for free but our monthly bill goes up $10 or get a galaxy S and pay the $16 monthly for the phone. At this point I'm confused and asked are those the only two options? She says no it's just what I recommend for Android devices and I'm not gonna go and list all the phones we have that are right over there in the store. So we walk over to the phones and I again explain the promotions we signed up with and tell her I'm confused on where she is getting these extra monthly fees from, maybe we misunderstood when signing up but either way I'm not following what she is trying to sell me. She replies "as I just explained" and explains some options that are not the promotion. I said ok I'm still just confused because we were under the impression that our monthly internet plan included the mobile plan for one year and porting my number got me the credits toward a phone. She said again as I explained, blah blah blah but she ends it with saying we aren't going to give you two things for free. That's when I said I don't understand why you are being so rude and told her we would just call in or drive to Burlington instead. I go online and guess what? I'm getting a new phone on the unlimited data plan all for free. She was either ignorant to her own companies promotions or was trying to sell me something I didn't need to buy for the commission. Right as we were walking in her previous customer was also walking out mumbling something that suggested he too had a poor interaction with her.

New service, installed modem wont reach more than 1/2 way through my house. Upgrade to pro to get the extender. Another modem and extender show up. Now it can reach 3/4 of the way to my living room. Over one hour with tech support, he seemed more interested in getting me to switch my phone service than fixing my problem. Wants to send another "same" modem. I say no. He sends me to the store to get a more powerful modem. The clerk says its the same modem. I ask for another extender. She says the system will determine in the next 2-3 weeks if I need one. So, I can leave my devices trying to connect for 3 weeks or I can string ethernet cable and add a router. If I do this, their system will not see my device as a weak signal. I try to leave a review on Xfinity forum. It disconnects me. Xfinity sucks.

"Retail Sales Executive" Ryan Sok is an absolute scammer. This sales associate gave us his card to call with any problems after assuring us he cancelled our previous account when we were trying to upgrade. I have been endlessly double charged for months and he does not answer phone, text, or email. Every representative on their app has lied and said they cancelled it but I keep getting charged for a machine that we don't even have and isn't turned on. I had a representative on their app (that has removed all ability to communicate in anything but text) literally beg me to give him a 5 star review after lying to me about cancelling the account and refunding me. A blue haired woman at the store, I don't remember her name, aggressively said they didn't have an obligation to fix the problem or get me an appointment with the representative who sold me the service and said I could cancel if I didn't like there service. But I can't even cancel it because their useless app returns a 404 bad gateway when I try to do anything. I am reporting them to my credit card company and I suggest all people do the same.

My roommate moved out so I had to transfer the xfinity service into my name. Simple? No. It took over an hour to talk to an actual person and not an A.I. when they finally got to my problem it was an extremely slow process (switching our electricity bill to my name literally took 30 seconds). While im trying to transfer service the rep keeps trying to sell me stuff, even after being asked to stop and that i iust want my service transferred. Come to find out that rep did not do their job, so yay I get to call again! Again. It took forever to get a real person, again told them what was happening. I had my roommate join the call to confirm the transfer. Again trying to upsell after being asked not to many times. They did their job wrong, again. Just got called by my former roommate, saying they got charged. Transferring service should not be this hard!
