Xfinity was a good service provider until I switched the the white and gold modem. I always had connectivity issues, my internet would randomly disconnect, especially when I saw patients from home. I had the second to largest internet tier and I was still having issues. I always had to make sure my computers were connected to the internet before getting to the home screen. Poor and terrible service all around and I would avoid being a customer of theirs in the future. Would not recommend to anyone.

The location is fine, have only been in to pick up and drop off equipment. Xfinity itself has been awful. I've been with them for more than 10 years including my time Portland , Virginia and Florida. I WFH now and ran into issues at my home. Called tech support after troubleshooting (Gen X been doing this a while). Kept losing service, it would re-connect and then drop again. Multiple calls to Xfinity, discovered how to bypass that insulting Tech Support IVR, service reconnected and disconnected. They can see on their end when you're connected by the way. The scheduled a tech and then called back 20 mins later to see if they could troubleshoot and cancel the tech visit. Every. Single. Time. Tech finally comes out, service had reconnected of course, he switched out the router and left. Service dropped 20 mins later. This went on and on. Eventually the reps got very rude because I kept calling, offered to switch out my router because it was the wrong one for my service. Yes, the one the tech brought. I gave them two weeks. Then called Verizon, made sure not to speak with a sales person and had service up and running in 3 days. Once it was working, I called and cancelled my Xfinity service. Just in time to have the conversation with my boss about losing my job if I couldn't get stable internet service. Received and email Oct 15th acknowledging the cancellation request I also turned in my equipment that week. About two weeks later I received a bill and called to confirm that my service would be disconnected - was assured it was and saw that my online acct reflected a prorated refund, Yesterday, I received a late notice for my bill. And today, I received notice that my cancellation request had been received. I'm not angry with the employees, because their poor customer service is what their leadership demands,. But I am angry that I have to call and fight with again them. I literally have had zero issues with Verizon. If you don't have to use Xfinity then don't.
