After several more hour on the phone with various people in Verizon my problem was still not resolved. Trying to speak with appropriate individuals was impossible. At one point I was transferred to someone “off shore” when I was trying to reach the store on Jefferson Avenue in Newport News. She informed me that she had tried calling the store 6-8 times with no answer (this was while they were open for business). I have never had my problem resolved. Trying to reach someone who is able to assist you at Verizon is a joke. You go on line and hit a road block every where you go. A business as large as Verizon should be ashamed of conducting business in such a cavalier manner. You make it impossible to follow up on problems but extremely convenient if you want to purchase new items, etc. I hope everyone will wake up and see how greedy you are and more companies will offer simlilar services. You certainly need competition because at this point you have a monopoly and your customer service is HORRIBLE.
