He worked very slowly, repeatedly disappeared from the sales floor for long periods of time, and provided no communication or updates during the process. Based on this experience, it appeared that he was disengaged from his job and not actively performing his duties. Management should review his activity, including store camera footage if necessary, as it would clearly show extended absences from the workplace while customers were waiting for assistance. In contrast, Carlos was highly professional, efficient, and genuinely helpful. He was polite, patient, and pleasant, and he demonstrated strong knowledge of Verizon services. Carlos took responsibility for the situation and provided excellent customer service, and he should be recognized as a hardworking and valuable employee. During my visit to the Verizon store to exchange my phone, David initially began assisting me and stated that he needed to check his laptop to confirm phone availability. Shortly after, he left to the back office or pantry area and was absent for approximately 20 minutes. When David returned, he informed me that the phone was not available but said he needed to check once more. He then left again without explanation and was gone for another extended period of time. After a long wait, Carlos joined us and took over the situation. Carlos successfully ordered the phone and completed the process of switching the other phone to the Verizon line. He handled the entire transaction efficiently and professionally. Approximately 20ā30 minutes later, after Carlos had already completed the order and line transfer, David returned and stated that he could not find the phone. Carlos really great and professional gentleman, many thanks for him ! š š š š š
