- UMUGin McGenieSep 23, 20251.0I visited the Verizon store at 5207 Brodie Ln, Sunset Valley, TX to transfer my second line from an old iPhone to a new one. What should have been a simple process turned into a disaster. Several employees, including the manager, worked on it. Instead of solving the issue, they deleted the eSIM from my old phone and never activated it on the new device. Now I no longer have access to this number, yet it still shows on my Verizon account and I am expected to keep paying for it. I was simply handed a support phone number and left on my own. No follow-up, no resolution, no accountability. This is not the level of service you expect from a major carrier. I’ve been a loyal Verizon customer with multiple family lines, but being abandoned without an active number makes me seriously reconsider my choice. Lately I’ve been thinking about switching to T-Mobile, and experiences like this only push me closer.
