    Yeah its really fast when its working.. It has outages alot and we go 1-3 days without sometimes. Its such an inconvenience especially because our apartment is in contract with them that we apparently cant use another. Currently going through one today 😣 the people at this location were really nice and helpful tho !

    This company is worth staying away from if you have a choice. The self serve options are not there. You can only change your email address, password, security questions and view your bill(statements). You cannot update your new service address, there is no 24 hr tech support, people in office have a hard time provisioning accounts for the most simple changes, etc. I am a Spectrum communications type of customer but the apartments I moved to does not contract with them. So I was forced to get Astound. My first red flag was them having the hardest time porting in my cellphone number. Then dealing with outages in the middle of the day time vs downtime. I moved to another unit when my lease was up and I called to transfer. That process was easy to make and I was connected without an issue. However, my services have been interrupted and I thought it was another outage. Once I woke up this morning I seen that it was still out. That’s when I decided to log into my account for further assistance. First thing I noticed is my autopay had not been drafted. So I tried to push it through and it kept failing. Then I checked the last statement and it had the old apartment number. So I logged on to the website. That’s when I seen my services have been disconnected and if I was transferring to sign in to start the process. I did so only for the system to tell me I had an existing account and sent me back to the log in. Not a great experience and Astound should do better when it comes to provisions and making things easy for the customer. Because when I called in to transfer, my new address should have been updated in the system. That’s crazy how I had the services for a month and then boom! Disconnected! Update: So my services were never disconnected. It was an outage that lasted almost 24/hrs due to a line being damaged pretty bad. So I was wrong in assuming I was disconnected. However, the 24/hr tech support service was not an option and I had to wait til 7am to speak with someone. That’s the truth. I should have been set up for the expectations of what I would need to do for the very limited self serve options that are provided when I called to transfer, originally. Noted the lady was very kind and helpful, even when she made mistakes, she was dedicated to fixing them. So no one is perfect but if we don’t talk about these learning curves then they don’t get addressed which leads to no solution. Astound is not that bad… all companies (even electric) experience outages at times. But provisioning ones should not be done during the day time or times people are usually on the internet. And please provide a wider range of self serve options. And please set expectations for people requesting changes of services, like transfers. This could have impacted my bill big time, due to the auto pay not coming out and my bill stacking up.
