    I've gone to this Verizon store recently to get assistance with changing my plans to help lower cost of bill. I've been a loyal customer for 17 years. My most recent experience was terrible. I was told I had to do it myself. Manage my own account. I requested assistance to make sure I don't mess up my plan and to understand prorations if any. I was told by the guy attending me I can make all these changes myself on the app. I told him him I was there to be assisted due to not knowing or understanding what plans were available and what best would benefit me. One can visibly see he did not care. Was with a group of his colleagues and all on their phones either texting or watching videos. In my mind I did think why are you working customer service if your not providing customer services. I never said it out loud, maybe I should have. I asked to review my bill to see what phones are still under payment plans and how much left. All your representatives shared was its on your bill. I walked out with no solution. Honestly fixing to change providers due to this experience at the McKinney, Texas location on Central Express Way.

    If there was a -0 for customer service, I would have given them one. Now let me not start off attacking company policies but this was by far the the craziest thing.. Verizon set me up an in-store pickup, when I told the rep on phone my issue, ( my wallet was stolen and the only ID had was expired) …Of course a different when I got there and I understand policy it what I want expect is poor customer service.. Sarah: Oh there is nothing we can do you have to call Verizon and cancel your order and have them reprocess … Me: Okay I have it on my phone , a valid ID, can you look at that and verify me.. Sarah : No and there is nothing we can do at store level… Me: Is there OTHER WAY TO GET DEVICE PICKED UP TODAY…( and she continues to say no) CAN TOU AT LEAST CALL ON YOUR END WHILE I CALL ON MY END… Sarah: There is no need for me to call because you calling the same 1800 number (after I insisted she call and try because she may can get a better result than myself or now how to better word .. And face we know coworkers help each faster than the customer) She finally calls and the call drops.. She see the call was dropping on my end as well… Instead of her trying to figure out a resolution because I knew there was more than one way to skin a cat.. The girl walk away and helps someone else as if I was not there… CAN YOU SAY PISSED🤬 Needless to say I was able to reach out to Verizon and get someone added as my friend as an account manager and get the phones .. I basically had to do their job because they clearly don’t have knowledge of different scenarios.. But moral YOUR CUSTOMERS WILL RUN INTO SITUATIONS, AND AS A YOUR JOB IS TO HELP YOUR CUSTOMER FIGURE THE BEST SOLUTION FOR THE SITUATION, AND JUST KNOWING YOUR JOB HELPS.. I wouldn’t be writing this if she would have just known I could add and account manager and the would have saved me over an hour on the phone and the store.. She truly needed retraining forsure🙏🏾🥰
