  Legal Eyewitness Statement Regarding Discriminatory and Hostile Conduct at the Xfinity Store, 9930 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX on November 11 between 2:00–2:40 PM I, an eyewitness present inside the Xfinity Store located at 9930 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas, submit the following factual statement regarding an incident of religious discrimination, harassment, intimidation, and hostile managerial conduct that I personally observed on November 11 between approximately 2:00 PM and 2:40 PM. During that time, I witnessed an elderly Jewish woman and her daughter subjected to aggressive, threatening, and discriminatory behavior by the Hispanic male manager on duty. His conduct escalated after he noticed the elderly woman wearing a Star of David necklace. The shift in his demeanor was immediate and unjustified. The manager began raising his voice, stepping toward her in a threatening manner, and speaking to her using a hostile and intimidating tone. His actions created a reasonable fear that the situation could escalate toward physical aggression. The daughter, visibly alarmed, began recording the interaction to protect her mother. Several customers and the store’s security guard witnessed the escalation. The environment became tense and silent as everyone observed the manager’s aggression. The behavior I witnessed constitutes religious discrimination, intimidation of an elderly person, hostile conduct, and unprofessional abuse of authority within a place of public accommodation. I request that this statement be reviewed alongside the store’s security footage from 2:00–2:40 PM and the daughter’s recording, which will corroborate these events. I affirm that the details in this statement are accurate to the best of my knowledge and based on my direct observation on November 11 between 2:00–2:40 PM.

  One of by far the worst experiences to date. First, the associates preferred to talk amongst themselves before anything else. They actually seemed annoyed that people were there. One associate did eventually call from across the room and ask what we were there for. To keep this review short, the unprofessionalism of this store is felt upon entering. If the subpar customer service is the norm, I will be using the exit clause on my contract going forward.
