Verizon is a house of vipers. Both over the phone and in person, the company has become too big to care - they act as if their unethical behavior is irrelevant, that they are bullet proof. I am out thousands of dollars because of an employee’s mistake. Verizon shrugs its shoulders - an associate at the store said the manager was afraid she would get into trouble if anyone of her bosses found out. Then there is the online sales department.
Just don’t. Walk away, go somewhere (anywhere) but Verizon.

Formal Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service and Unresolved Issues
I have been a loyal customer for over three years, but my recent experience has been extremely disappointing and unacceptable. The level of customer service I received was the worst I’ve encountered to date.
Not only have I experienced an increase in dropped calls and poor voice quality—often robotic or distorted—but the lack of support when attempting to resolve these issues has been even more frustrating. When I contacted customer service, I was given inconsistent information and witnessed clear miscommunication between departments. It felt as though I was speaking to two separate companies, each blaming the other instead of taking responsibility.
To make matters worse, when I visited the store to resolve the issue, the manager informed me that she does not handle any concerns related to customer service and directed me to Apple. This lack of accountability and refusal to assist was both unhelpful and dismissive.
I strongly advise others to avoid this location, as you will not receive support or solutions if problems arise. It is clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority at this store.

Verizon treats their business customers like dirt. If you are a teenager with your first cell phone you will probably be treated much better than a business customer. Whenever a business customer calls for support they usually told that they are unable to because they’re a business customer. They have to call back between 9 AM and 5 PM Monday through Friday if they can’t even hope to get any support at all. The TalkOne services are terrible.
Unlike Verizon T-Mobile really prioritizes their business customers. You would expect that. After 17 years with Verizon I now know that I would never go back to that company. We will also never refer anyone to that company.
After our many years of loyalty, Verizon continued to bill us for weeks of service which they never provided. We had already been moved over to T-Mobile and were told that our services were discontinued. Verizon has figured out a way to charge us for three weeks of services that we never received after we were already a T-Mobile customer.
After two hours on the phone speaking with the supervisor, “Tom” from India, he made it clear that they were refusing to bill us for the weeks after we had already moved over to T-Mobile. They were claiming that the phone numbers they set up to work with our OneTalk phones we’re still being billed to us even though we made it clear that we reporting all our numbers out.
He basically called me a liar when I told him that the representative made it clear that once our numbers were ported out that we would no longer be with their company. He told me that he could not go by that because it was not in writing, and yet he refused to give me anything in writing as well. Verizon does not send you information in writing so that they can later on charge you after you’ve already left their company. This is stealing and it’s illegal in the United States, maybe not in India though?
If you’re a professional business customer you would do way better to go to T-Mobile who really prioritizes their business customers and offer support for them 24/7.
I would not recommend Verizon to my enemies. They have no concern for their customers, only for making as much money as they can. They are far more expensive and give you for less.
We are looking into the possibility of bringing a class action lawsuit against them. That’s the only way you’ll get accompanies attention like Verizon.
