  Leroy called before stopping by. He showed up at the expected time. He immediately identified the problem, moisture in the line, and got to work. He was very courteous, even with our cranky neighbor whose yard he had to access in order to reach the pole and replace the line. Our internet is back up and we are very happy with the service provided from Leroy. We will definitely call him if we have any issues going further. 😃

  Just now saw Astound ADVERTISING $20 per month for wifi, FOR NEW CUSTOMERS, while the nearly $50 per month I pay (which is more than I was promised when I signed up, btw) was touted as THE LOWEST POSSIBLE RATE. Nothing told to you by a salesperson for a communications company, or in one of their ads, is ever true. I guess I need to cancel my service and start all over again, but betting if I did I'd find out it's not actually $20 per month. Just fyi ervice drops out in my neighborhood nearly every day, RIGHT WHEN THEIR OFFICE CLOSES, councidentally,, and getting on the 24 hour chat just gets you an AI telling you to unplug everything and plug it back in, though why it would need to be done every day at their closing time is never explained.

  I've had all the major Internet service providers in town and I always wind up coming back to Astound (Grande). Great rates and customer service. I've got the new fiber which matches the quality but smashes the competition in affordability. Had a service call this weekend and they had my tech out the same day and he (Gilbert) took care of my problems quickly, efficiently, and even gave me his cell number to follow up on my problem if it was to persist!

  WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS EVER!!! ESPECIALLY IN THE CORPUS CHRISTI OFFICE LOCATION!!! Was a customer for many many years NEVER had a issue and when I had a issue these represeatives were worthless. SAVE yourself the headache and look elsewhere for internet service because if you ever have a issue all you'll get is ugly looks at the corpus christi office location!!! This company should really look at who is representing them because I am sure I will not be the last to leave this provider!! GOOD RIDDANCE!!👋

  My apartment only allows Astound as an internet provider as they have a contract with them. Luckily I saw they were running a discount on their website as I just needed WiFi for my coursework and tests on my computer. They offered a fall discount of $60 with a monthly charge of $50. My first bill came out to $125. I could overlook getting charged extra as long as I had good WiFi for my exams. However my WiFi has turned on and off repeatedly within the first 24 hours of being installed and actually quit working during one of my proctored exams. I had to get on the phone with the school to explain the situation when my exam froze and disclose to the school which internet provider was giving me faulty internet connection. They were appalled to say the least. I almost failed an exam because of their WiFi! If you are a student that needs WiFi do not choose this company.
