    They will not answer your call to cancel. And you can't do it yourself or online chat. It's a joke. Even the call tree. If you claim you want to start an account, your hold time is short and they offer a call back. If you want to cancel, you get no call back and just wait on hold. I have spent collectively two hours on hold. If you get a person, they transfer you to back on hold. I'm cancelling because they charged me $15 more per month without telling me and without service changing. Now I will never interact with Astound again. Laughable service and unethical customer service. Update: After another 40 minutes, I was finally answered. She informed me that even though I had unplugged my modem and made it clear, I want to cancel that. I still have to pay for the rest of the entire month without any ability to prorate my bill. Not only that, but I have to return the equipment to a location over 30 minutes away, not even in Portland. And this equipment was already in the apartment when I moved in. The woman who answered was also not polite.

    The WiFi is slow. Sometimes I pay every other month my last bill was almost $600 so I thought I went a little longer without paying it. JUST payed my bill and it’s already OVER $300 it’s been 1 WEEK since I paid. Why is WiFi over $300 a month. And when did data usage become a thing?????? Iv lived here for over 3 years it used to be $50 unlimited. Honestly at this rate I’m just going to switch over to starlink.
