I have spent multiple days and more than 14 hours trying to get a working replacement phone, and the experience has been beyond frustrating. • 9/4/2025: Spent 3 hours with customer service to resolve a defective replacement phone, only to discover it had been shipped to the wrong address. • 9/5/2025: Spent 7 additional hours on the phone explaining that the device was defective and I still needed a new one. I was assured the issue was resolved and that a replacement would arrive to the right address once again on 9/6/2025. • 9/6/2025: Arrived at my Verizon store at 9:45 a.m. and waited with the manager, Craig, until 12:00 p.m. Despite his efforts, there was no trace of my replacement. I was then told that because Verizon shipped the phone to the wrong address, no new phone can be sent until the that device is returned from FedEx—something outside of my control. To make matters worse, the misaddressed shipment was never canceled on 9/5/2025 as promised, meaning it is still set to be redelivered on the 8th to the wrong address. This is completely unacceptable. As a paying customer, I should not have to invest more than 14 hours of my time to correct a mistake that was made by Verizon and Asurion. The lack of accountability, efficiency, and urgency in resolving such a simple issue is shocking. I am requesting the following: 1. Immediate shipment of a working replacement phone to my correct address. 2. Assurance that my account will be credited for the disruption and time lost. 3. A formal acknowledgment that this situation was mishandled and a clear outline of how it will be prevented in the future. Verizon, you need to take responsibility for the way your customers are treated. This is not only unprofessional but also deeply insulting to those of us who rely on our devices for both daily life and business.
