- SHSean HanrahanMay 17, 20251.0If you have a legacy plan, DO NOT UPGRADE your phone if you want to keep those grandfathered legacy benefits. The people in this store lied to me and told me I was eligible for an upgrade on my phone with the legacy plan. I am a member of the family plan, the family plan in its entirety was changed when I upgraded my phone. maybe there's some fine print on the site somewhere that says, but when I asked to speak to a manager about this, the first time I was in the store, I was stonewalled. the second time I talked to the manager about this they said "Oh we tell our customers about the need to change plans, I've listened in on conversations and seen that." I told him that wasn't my experience. My wife bought a phone through the verizon and didn't help at all setting up the phone, and there were some issues syncing the phone. I've been a loyal verizon customer for years, this experience makes me want to find a new carrier once my upgraded phone is paid off.
