Went in yesterday after my brother added me to his account and to a new line and he had set me up prior to receive a new iPhone 14 pro and I went in after he got the notification that phone was ready to be picked up and after arriving the manager asked for my i.d and went into the back room only to come out few minutes later and say they did not have a phone for me there and to have a good day and asked ne to leave, I asked him why and he said it has been flagged due to fraud. I asked him what reasons would it have been flagged for and he replied with there are many reasons why it could have happened so I said ok I'll just call my brother and have him call corporate to see if we can get this figured out. I went and sat down with my brother in the phone when the manager walked back up to me and said to be honest I flagged it for fraud so why don't you come back when you have a real i.d so you can leave now I already called the cops. I then took out my social and my debit card and any other forms of i.d I had on me and put them on a table and said how could you say my i.d is fake ? He said leave get out of my store the cops are coming! I said ok you called the cops so now I might as well wait because in my head if I left the scene it would look like I was there up to no good , so cops arrive and it was a cop I was familiar with for all the right reasons, it was a cop I knew from when I worked at dunks I gave him and all his friends free coffee so I approached him and said you know me and began explaining to him the situation and he said well your i.d is definitely real but there's nothing I can do to help you unfortunately he's refusing to cooperate with you and give you your phone and you'll just have to call Verizon and have them ship it so feelilg defeated I agreed I'd leave the store feeling I had no other option. I will never go back to this location until the manager is replaced and it seems I am not the only person that's had negative encounters with the sales reps there according to the reviews . I'm honestly thinking of having my brother cancel the plan all together and possible switching carriers if the people at this store are what I will have to deal with when it comes to representing Verizon wireless !
