- HWHarriett WashingtonJan 28, 20251.0I would have given Kevin, aka, KJ a higher rate until after he LIED about my credit check would be a soft pull when in all actuality it was a HARD PULL on my credit. When I called him about it, he so easily brushed it off like it was nothing!!! “If 100 points was taken off your score, I’m sorry but what do you want me to do?! I work at Verizon and not the Credit company. Not only was he getting smart with his comments but then when I asked to speak to a supervisor, he told me to come up to the store as if I had nothing else to do or not working. It is appalling that because I asked prior to me doing the application whether it would be a soft or hard pull, his answer was, I only told you what I knew. UNACCEPTABLE!!! And though nothing can be done at this point because it’s done, I wanted to make sure that if you go to this location on N. Tryon AVOID Kevin because he doesn’t care about you. He cares about his “solutions” numbers he obviously needs to make with the people he interacts with. My advice?! Get some customer service training going on. And after encountering him like this, I see WHY Nordstrom more than likely fired him or let him go because of his harsh, brash, unapologetic, desensitized person he is. Don’t say that I didn’t leave the warning for all eyes to read.
