I have had an issue with billing for months with Verizon and trying to call is a waste of time and often a joke. After 3 scheduled visits to a corporate location, in 3 different cities, 2 different states, on the 3rd visit, I finally got my issue resolved. Not getting results from the first two visits had nothing to do with the corporate store associates themselves, they were fantastic. My issue wasn't resolved because someone on the billing side didn't do what they were supposed to do, but we often don't have access to those people unless we go through an associate or Manager at a Corporate location IN PERSON, and is willing to follow up to make things right with the customer.
If you have any kind of billing issue with Verizon, I recommend 2 things.
1.) Make an appointment online at a Corporate Store; it's simple and it's a "CYA" because there's a record of your appointment and a ticket is created. Plus, you're guaranteed to be helped at a time it's convenient for you!
2.) Document, document, document!! Keep records of everything! Names, dates, receipts, screen shots of chats with Verizon, ticket numbers, everything!! Bring them with you when you go to your appointment.
I'm very thankful for Tom for going out of his way to fix my issue that was ongoing for months with Verizon. Tom did some investigating after he took my notes that I had in hand, observed my prior notes and tickets created from previous contacts with Verizon (months worth) and he got to the bottom of it!
