    I started internet with xfinity and a tech came out to install the equipment. They installed 1 piece of equipment and only for the service I reuqested - just internet. At the end of my service, I turned in my equipment. They said I had another piece of equipment for streaming tv service. I said I did not recieve that and I specifically said I did not want tv, since we use apps like Amazon prime and Netflix. It turns out, I have been grossly over charged for the 1 service I requested since they decided to attach tv streaming against my wishes. 155/month for what I thought was just internet. The rep at the office said she would "take care of the additional equipment" that I didn't even recieve. When I asked what my final bill would be for the 3 days of this month she said it would be $45. So not only have I been grossly over charged this entire service time since January 2024 and for equipment I didnt have or want. I am also paying an additional $45 at the end of this month. I want refunded for the services I was incorrectly charged since 2024. I want to be contacted by a representative and told why I would be charged for equipment I did not have and for service I did not recieved. I want to know why the tech would even add it to the account without my permission or informing or for not even recieving the equipment.

    Spent 5 hour 1 day after spending 5 hours with a saleman and stuck here again for who knows how long. they have failed to honor two adds that were promised to us by custumer sevice reps and sale men costing over $1400 we have spent over 20 hours working with them and they have yet to begain to retify the matter. you can get promised something 3 times on the phone and this store will go "dUh We CAnt Do THaT" yep only had to spent $1400 to say $10 a month. None of the department communicate and you cant trust them to honor a single add or statement. Wish That saleman never knock on our door and bricked our old phones. And if a rep say theyre creating a ticket or adding a note their lieing 0 for 4 on notes. NEVER SWTCH TO THESE PRICKS.

    I want to give a massive shoutout to the customer service rep Teresa from Xfinity! I was ready to cancel my service — I was frustrated, anxious, and done — and Teresa completely turned that around. She was calm, understanding, and genuinely kind. She shared stories about her goats, helped me laugh, and stayed with me until my problem was fully resolved. She didn’t rush me, she didn’t push me, she simply showed up as a human being, and that made all the difference. People don’t just look for performance or metrics — we look for genuine humans who care, who show compassion, who listen, who help without pretense. Teresa reminded me what customer service should really be: presence, empathy, and kindness. We should all take note of people like her, because they are the ones who make a difference. Companies need to evolve with the world, and we need more Teresas.

    Beware, your first 2 months are not billed. Once service is cancelled you will still be charged for 2 additional months and not at your starting rate, they will charge you your current, more expensive rate, because the first 2 months aren’t billed. I was not told this when I cancelled, otherwise I would have removed my card info. My original rate was $42 my current rate $72. This feels like manipulation and I will never use Xfinity nor will I ever suggest anyone use them. THEY WILL ONLY GET MORE AND MORE EXPENSIVE AND THEN MAKE YOU FEEL ROBBED IN THE END!!!! there are many other options out there!!!
