The only reason this isn't a 1-star rating is because my family have been coming to this store for years, and our experiences have been great until this incident. The staff is usually helpful and friendly, but I've learned that some of them can be uncooperative and dishonest too. Our phones work now, but what was supposed to be simple upgrades resulted in the worst customer service experience that I've dealt with thus far. If you come here for their services, just hope that everything goes right because problems will be handled very poorly.
The first associate was amazing, very helpful and patient, and he set up the first two phones. Two weeks later, we worked with a different person to set up the remaining two phones that we had ordered. However, he never activated these phones even after we paid for that service. This was a massive inconvenience because I had driven from out of town for my phone and planned to leave the same day. I was stuck in Saint Louis for the night because neither my old or new phones were connected to the network, meaning no cellular data for GPS. The store had just closed, and no one answered the phone at customer service.
We went in the next morning to get the phones activated and have our issues be heard, but the next associate, the third that we worked with, completely disregarded the issue and even lied about not having a manager that we could speak to or call. He even implied blaming me for receiving unactivated phones because we had decided to do the data transfers ourselves. These are two different things, and we had paid the activation fees, so we should have received the service that we PAID for. Furthermore, we were given multiple different names for the second associate that we worked with, and he refused to give his own. It wasn't until yet another associate came over who actually listened to us and offered a refund for the activation fees. This was barely a bandaid after how awful the interaction with the third associate was and the lies that we found out about a few days later because they do actually have a manager. What began as an honest mistake but huge inconvenience was made even worse by one person's effort to deceive us.
