Got helped right away, some great options to reduce bill over $50/mo, an upgraded box for free and information on converting phone.

I called them on the phone, but they couldn't help me on the phone. I went to the store and turned in my modem. The guy there told me that he couldn't simply cancel my service. I had to do a video call with someone on an iPad. That guy told me that I had an old kind of service and they had a new service that I might like. I told him I just wanted to cancel my service. Finally, after all that, he canceled my service. I will never go back to Xfinity.

Upon entering the store, we approached a staff member who was stationed near the entrance. Unfortunately, she was unable to assist us and inquired why we had not purchased the phone through Xfinity. We explained that we had attempted to do so the previous day without success. We asked if there was any assistance she could offer, but she directed us to call the technical support number, advising us to do so outside to avoid disrupting other customers in the store. Consequently, we spent over 30 minutes on the phone with technical support in the rain, as we were determined to leave with a functioning device. Afterward, we returned to the store in hopes of receiving further assistance, but unfortunately, the same staff member was unable to help us again. Eventually, the call to technical support was disconnected, and we left the store without an activated phone. The experience highlighted a lack of support, possibly due to our choice of purchase outside of Xfinity, despite our previous efforts to acquire the device through their service.
