Horrific customer service representatives that should be ashamed of themselves. I was going to order a Galaxy Fold 7 and Samsung S25FE since I didn't want to have the phones delivered for multiple reasons. The sales rep grabbed them from inventory, scanned the UPC, went through the checkout process, paid, handed over my ID (for verification), and they said they unfortunately can't hand over the devices and that it would have to be delivery. If this was Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, AT&T I would be walking out of the store with two new phones. No questions asked. To protect my account? Last time I checked I am a live person and the account holder. You also scanned my ID. HELLO!? So I left frustrated and called Xfinity and they said "sure what I'm going to do is have it shipped to your house overnight for no extra charge after explaining my situation. I live in a shady neighborhood and I don't want to leave X amount of money sitting outside when it's the worst time of the year for porch pirates...unless Xfinity wants to pay me for taking the day off. Was under the impression that went through.... NOPE! Honestly what a complete embarrassment. I work in retail and I know that they know that they could pull some strigs instead of pretending to be a circus act to ensure their customers have the best experience possible. To any chat agents who read this? Don't reach out unless you can give me some form of compensation. I don't care what. You can pull some strings. Don't act so powerless. Everyone else. Avoid this location and ordering devices here unless you want to go in circles.

I have been an Xfinity customer for over five years. What I experienced at the Xfinity Store in Grandville, Michigan was some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. I scheduled four separate appointments to upgrade my mobile phone service. • Two appointments with Avery • A third with another sales representative • A fourth with Montague C. Every single visit ended the same way: I was told that “technical issues on our end” prevented the upgrade. Four appointments. Four failures. At no point did anyone take ownership or offer a real solution. The situation became outright infuriating when I dealt with the store manager, Justin (who would only identify himself as “Justin H.”). Two of his own employees clearly stated I would receive $800 for my trade-in. Justin refused to acknowledge what his staff told me and insisted the value was $700, effectively calling his own team wrong — or dishonest. Either he is incapable of training his staff properly or unwilling to stand behind them. Neither is acceptable. Justin also refused to provide his full last name. When I informed him I would be leaving a review describing my experience, his response was: “Reviews don’t matter.” That statement alone tells you everything you need to know about the culture of this store. It’s even more ironic considering Justin personally called me after I left a negative review following my first failed attempt to complete this same upgrade. After four wasted appointments, contradictory information, and a manager who openly dismisses customer feedback, I am done. I will be canceling my mobile and phone services with Xfinity, and I strongly encourage anyone who expects basic competence and respect to take their business elsewhere. If this store cannot complete a routine phone upgrade — and management genuinely believes customer feedback “doesn’t matter” — then neither should your business.
