We are already Xfinity internet and cable customers, so we imagined the process would be seamless. The sales representative, Raven (I did not know her name until the end) was scattered brained, unorganized, somewhat crude with her unanticipated comments, and overall a questionable choice of a sales representative. After some really basic number crunching with our trade-ins, we made the choice to make that switch and buy 2 new 17 max pros. My phone number was in the process of being ported with no issue. My husband then had to wait an hour plus just to then find out the “security” issue porting his phone number was not that of turning “find my iPhone off.” We now are still waiting on his phone to be shipped. Mind you, we still have zero idea what security issue there is, because not once was his ID verified in store. He did not received any confirmation email as he was told. Not really sure what Raven did here ….or didn’t do. After speaking to at least 3 different people via Xfinity customer service, we still have zero answers and no idea when the phone will be delivered. So once the phone is delivered we still have to get the number ported over. AT&T was never this convoluted and we are contemplating returning back to their service.
