- BBBizzz7Nov 7, 20251.0Xfinity did not of it's own accord make sure I had set boxes that were compatible to watch the World Series. I found out through astonishing on screen messages saying my equipment was incompatible. Subsequently I had to return to this store 3 days in a row in order to get them to properly add their new set boxes to my account in a manner that their system could let me set them up. Absolute insanity, all of it. Xfinity offers significant financial incentives to switch to their cellular phone service yet I could never as I can not be without cell phone service for 4 days. Xfinity reimbursed me for just one day of the four days I could not watch television. The manager of this store was of little help... but this is status quo with Xfinity as evidenced repeatedly in reading the reviews, bad or no customer service help. If my building had other television options, I'd switch from Xfinity... but alas. Even Xfinity staff who tried to be helpful expressed their embarrassment at the company they work for, themselves getting "illogical" messages in trying to set up service .... and that sums up Xfinity perfectly: illogical and embarrassing ... get your services elsewhere.

I went to the AT&T shop to see if they could help me, they were kind of rude. And told me I had to contact customer support. I went back to Comcast and they lent me a phone so that I could contact customer support and end this silly incident

But to say the store as a whole is any good..well I would have to say no. Two of the Xfinity employees out of 50 have been knowledgeable and helpful. This is going back when you guys have.
