    Store staff at this Verizon location are wonderful and have done everything they can to help me. This review is not about them. It is a warning about Verizon’s systems and customer service, because I am now having to file a complaint with the FCC over a “missing equipment” charge that is entirely their fault. I am posting this here to make it even clearer to others who might trust them. I ordered 5G Home Internet and had a Verizon technician come to my apartment. After trying to install it, he told me it was impossible to set up service at my address and that the installation had failed. He then took all of the 5G Home equipment with him when he left. I never kept a single device. Weeks later, I received a bill claiming I had not returned the equipment. Over at least 20 phone calls and multiple in-person visits to this store, I was repeatedly blamed for a problem caused by Verizon’s own technician. I was told different things every time: that the charges would be waived in a few days, that someone would call me back (no one ever did), and even that once you are no longer a customer, you are no longer a priority. During one visit, I spent around eight hours at this store while the staff and I stayed on the phone with Verizon support. We heard call center reps accuse me of stealing the equipment and even suggest I “call the police” on the Verizon tech who had been in my home. Eventually one representative told me it was finally resolved and to stop worrying. Three weeks later, the same bill showed up again, still claiming I had unreturned hardware and still threatening my credit. So yes, the people who work in this store are kind and tried to advocate for me. But the larger Verizon system has treated me as if I am lying, has wasted countless hours of my time, and is now putting my credit at risk over equipment their own employee removed. Heed this warning before you sign up for 5G Home or trust that Verizon will handle its own mistakes. I am now escalating this through a formal complaint to the FCC.

    I had an issue returning my 5g internet, and AJ helped me swiftly and quickly got get me connected to a customer service rep. After it turned out the rep was having some issues returning my equipment, AJ stood up for me and really had my back as a customer. After calling for 20 minutes and trying to escalate the issue so I could get helped forward, he realized that we had to look for another way to help me and get me going. He then returned my equipment to the store and got me on my way again. AJ helped me very well and it seems he is very good at his job and more than deserving of the manager title. If anything if I’m Verizon I am promoting him right away, absolute legend!
