- CCCRagDec 26, 20251.0Absolutely joke. All those reviews you are reading about employees being rude are true. Wait times are worse than DMV. I went to pick up xfinity gateway for home internet. Waited one hour and three people moved. All those lazy employees had to do is take one box of gateway out, scan and hand. Avoid! If i had option to give 0 stars i would have.

Prior to arriving, I contacted customer service to confirm whether I could pick up a router on behalf of the account holder and was told exactly what documents were needed and that it could be done. When I arrived, the employee I interacted with was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Instead of attempting to assist or explain options, she spoke in a condescending manner and showed zero interest in resolving the issue. I understand policies must be followed—I work in customer service—but there is no excuse for treating customers with disrespect. What made this even more frustrating was that no manager was available, leaving no way to address the situation in the moment. Poor training and lack of leadership were obvious, and this experience reflected badly on the location—not the company. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. A great company should not be represented by customer service this bad.

Is this why the bill is so high? You pay people to sleep while parked illegally? 2:45pm today behind 7-11 in Elk Grove. License plate 43 098. Update.. the very next day my service is completely out. The customer service line just hangs up when you call and refuses to give the option to talk to an agent. I'll be canceling my service immediately from this garbage company.

And if they deflect you to their customer retention team, its a complete joke. Its literally an iPad in the middle of the busy store where you have to video chat with someone. And the headphones are for show... they don't actually work. So you have to basically yell into the mic and the person on the other side can't hear you clearly. So they yell back. But bc you're sitting in the middle of a loud store, you can't hear them either! The manager will come over and reset your call so you get to wait another 5-10 mins for a person to answer the live call to repeat this nonsense all over again. Xfinity is the worst. These storefronts are a joke.
