Very poor service. Spectacularly unhelpful. I just needed to drop off equipment. That is a straightforward procedure, which involves scanning the equipment and providing me with a receipt.
A long line of about four to five different customers, all waiting, developed while I was there.
Two Xfinity representatives were on the floor, helping the same customer, for a duration.
There were previously other Xfinity representatives on the floor. They finished with their customers. They saw the line of waiting customers -- I know this because they made eye contact with me. They went into the back and never came out. I get that people need to get a break. But when there are multiple people waiting, maybe multiple employees don't take their contractually protected break at the same time. That is a failure of the employees (perhaps not caring about customer service), and/or a failure of management, and/or a failure of company policy and negotiations.
The person in front, who checked me in, works only in the mobile division. I don't blame that person, but here's a novel idea, Xfinity: train your people to do multiple things. Then, when internet people are in the store, they can help with that. And when mobile people are in the store, they can switch to that instead. You may need to pay your employees more to attract more talent. But you would then need to hire fewer people per store.
I spent time writing this in the hopes that someone from Xfinity would read reviews and fix it.
This store is very poorly run. Maybe that's what the workers want -- for people like me to get frustrated, walk out, write poor reviews. Then other people won't come to this store and go elsewhere.

Hunter was very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable! I went to a different store to pick up a new cable box, then came to his (different) store to return the old box. He informed me of a better plan, without me even asking. The person from the other store did not offer any information. Great going Hunter!
