- CJChrissa JamesAug 20, 20251.0Don’t be stupid, like me.. and listen to them lie and tell you that the phone is free if you get coverage through Verizon. It’s not free. I paid at least 700-800 dollars for an iPhone 14 with terrible service. They don’t tell you that you have to pay more for great service. I had a monthly , not prepaid , plan and went in to talk with someone about why I was only getting 1 and 2 bars , which affected my job doing deliveries. They told me I’d have to upgrade my plan, basically to receive more bars. I paid my phone off and went to “Straight talk” where I now see 5G on my screen and my phone works great, even in rural areas. And I get free Walmart + and hotspot, which I had to pay $10 a month for hotspot with Verizon. Verizon lied about everything initially and cost me lots of money. Buy a phone from Walmart and choose “straight talk”….. save yourself a bunch of money ..with a waaay better plan and service
