I went on Friday to start a monthly subscription for the internet fob ( for lack of the actual name of the device). I explained to the lady who is the customer service representative that my friend has a device used for remote internet access. I asked if she understood what I was asking, and she said yes, we carry them here. She asked for my phone number and said, unfortunately, we don't have coverage for this number or that area, and I will not be able to start a new subscription. My phone number is a locally listed phone number. She asked for my name and phone number and said she would call when coverage was available in the area. I'm baffled. I thought Verizon had coverage damn near nationwide, but apparently not here. I digress, Verizon; call me when you have range!
