A Verizon store used my sensitive personal information to open an account without my knowledge or authorization. I only found out months later when I was contacted about being sent to collections. I NEVER signed up for this account, never agreed to anything, and yet I'm now being forced to file a fraud claim just to protect myself from financial liability. This is blatant fraud and an outrageous violation of trust and privacy. Verizon has made it clear that unless I take the initiative to prove this was fraud, I'm financially responsible. It's disturbing that this kind of thing can happen at one of their authorized stores, and even worse that they treat victims like suspects. Avoid this location. Hold Verizon accountable.
