I did the self installation but it wasn’t working due to an issue out of my control so someone was sent out to fix it, they tried to tell me it would be $100 on my next bill for someone to come out even for 5 minutes. I fought it because it was not my fault and they agreed I wouldn’t be charged. Fast forward to today I get a $168 charge, $100 of that being the installation fee they promised to wave. If spectrum was available I’d have them 100x over.

My security system lags constantly and I have to reset it all the time. I also signed up for a phone deal that was supposed to include a year of service. I paid, was told everything was approved, and that the phone would arrive in the mail. Then I received an email saying the order was on hold due to verification. When I tried to verify through the app, the only option it gave kept saying there were technical difficulties. I ended up getting the refund weeks later after cancelling. The last straw was a billing issue. I made a payment arrangement, but I paid with a different card than the one I originally set up. I even paid earlier than the agreed date. The next month, they cut my service off and marked my account I’ve been with them for over two years, and now they’re cutting me off for being behind $190.00 to get it back on. with no option for a payment arrangement. That’s fine—I can pay it now, just two days later. But I’ve been looking at other providers and found cheaper internet with HughesNet, and the speed is actually what they advertise. With Xfinity, the speed only reaches what I’m paying for occasionally. Their security system is also much cheaper with clearer picture quality and better features, and they don’t constantly push sales. They don't have a way to contact by email and the chat is ai Even after you ask for live representative or live person ai will just repeat it self.
