Bait and switches are illegal and unfair consumer practices but the employees at this store are unaware of the legal ramifications.

The staff member who helped me, told me there was a deal if I bought this certain kind of phone, I would get a FREE Apple Watch. I didn't really want an Apple Watch, but I thought since it was free, why not. Maybe I would give it to a family member. I recently noticed on my bill that it wasn't free at all. The manager said she was going to speak with this person and wouldn't tell me his name. I had forgotten his name and didn't see him in the store that day. She said I was not permitted to return the watch because it was past 30 days. I never even took it out of the box. I was lied to or the salesperson made a mistake, but there was nothing they could do. Be careful when you're being told something is free. I also had to pay for a new line on my account as well and was never told this by the salesperson.

What company uses gift cards to limit how you spend your own money. Or even have an expiration date on the card. Ridiculous. I rather us my Hotspot on my cell phone than keep using a company that steals money from. Hard working clients. They are quick to stop and keep my money but if I owed that amount they would be quick to take me to collections. For years. And they put a time on how long you can use the card they send you. Wasted my full day dealing with this crap. But I rather spend money on an attorney and make sure that Xfinity does not keep my mo e. No way.
