    I stopped in last night to ask a question about my bill and why the autopay did not take out our last payment. Emily fixed the issue and also gave us other options to help us save money. She was very sweet and helpful. Great customer service.

    Unfortunately, our experience mirrored many of the other reviews. After our internet bill increased by about 17% without advance notice, we contacted Xfinity customer service to understand the change and explore lower-cost options. After a long wait, the phone representative described several promotional offers and assured us our service level would remain the same, but the details became unclear when we asked for confirmation. When they can't answer a question like "Does that amount include taxes and fees?" directly, that does not create feelings of trust. To get clarity, we visited the Xfinity store and spent over an hour with a courteous representative. However, when we referenced the offers described by phone support, we were told that the information we received was not accurate and should not be relied upon. This inconsistency between sales channels was concerning. It's not great when employees of a company tell you not to believe what other employees tell you. We were eventually offered a plan that would reduce our bill by $15 per month. However, while the in-store staff and manager could see the discounted price in their system, the written confirmation sent to us reflected a higher price, and they stated they were unable to honor the lower amount they had quoted. The lack of price transparency, inconsistent representations, and inability to provide accurate written confirmation makes it very difficult for customers to make informed decisions—especially in areas with limited alternatives. Overall, the process was time-consuming and frustrating, and we were left with no practical option but to accept the higher cost. The takeaway from this is anything Xfinity tells you is not true unless you get it in writing and they simply don't care one way or the other.
