    Wasted an hour waiting to realize we were taken off the wait list due to the rep not checking the customers name when we were supposed to be next. Blonde curly hair dude made an honest mistake. Once we were prioritized, the next available rep didn’t even want to take us because he called another group up to help. we were trying to trade in a phone, we already knew what we needed and wanted- but this rep had to go into the back and forth several times to walk from the table to the back room. The rep wasn’t knowledgeable and had to leave each time we had a question. Older gentleman with a handlebar mustache was the sales rep. It was a complete waste of time. We were ready to buy- due to the incompetency, we didn’t want to purchase from the handlebar mustache guy.

    I had a very frustrating experience at another Xfinity location while trying to transfer my number from AT&T to Xfinity. The first representative started the process but it took way too long, and I was told to come back the next day. Even after five days, the porting process still wasn’t complete, and neither the representative nor their manager knew how to fix the issue. I was also never informed about a promotion offering a free line for a year for new customers. Thankfully, I went to the Xfinity store in Roseville and was helped by Ruthann, who completely turned things around. After explaining my situation, she quickly realized that the original representative had messed up the process. Ruthann was knowledgeable, attentive, and patient. She fixed everything, explained the available promotions, and set me up with the best plan for my needs. Her team and manager also knew how to resolve the issue, even though it took some time. I had also tried calling customer service multiple times before going into the store, which was a nightmare and a complete waste of time. Thanks to Ruthann, I finally got what I needed—my cell number successfully transferred. I truly appreciate her help and professionalism.

    Go to the store in yuba city. This store is UNBEARABLY slow. Easy 45min wait and it’ll go over that. Actual set up is to be as expected but they move at a snails pace. Pro could be a more personalized customer experience but definitely not for me. Too busy to be lounging around that long. The Xfinity in Yuba City is so much better

    If service is poor, I generally chalk it up to “they’re having a bad day,” and say nothing in online reviews. However, after three identically horrible experiences over a 6 month period, I feel justified in relaying my experiences. When I can finally get to a person, they are always courteous although xfinity is clearly out for number one and the employees are not empowered to solve anything but basic requests and are also frustrated. The wait times have been over an hour every time although promised wait time at check has been relayed as expected to be an optimistic “10-15 minutes.” I have now been here approaching 90 minutes and still waiting. Exacerbating the terrible wait is their call system is inadequate meaning you have no idea if you’re even on a roster despite checking in and you have no idea if you’ve been missed or how much longer your wait will be. At least now the woman who is checking folks in is saying it “will be a long wait,” which is at least honest.
