- RHRebecca HutchinsJan 2, 20261.0So I walked into the Verizon store, expecting it might be a bit but it's been an overwhelming day. AT&t took $3,000 out of my account because I had been waiting for the rebate gift cards so that I could pay it off. I walk into the store and the guy asking my name and I tell him and tell him what I'm there for and he says it'll probably be 30 to 40 minutes. It was closer to an hour. And I said seriously? I was there for nearly 3 hours in November, can't I just handle this quickly? He said no, people were in line so I said fine, I guess I don't have anything else to do. So I go sit down, mind you, I was already overwhelmed between the $3,000 and then the ambulance having to go check on my mother. This man has no empathy. His name is eddie, by the way. So they call me up we start going through it to try to figure out what's going on, the gentleman was having a really hard time figuring it out. I then heard Eddie tell another customer that it would only be two to three weeks before he got his gift cards to pay off his phones from the previous carrier. I turned around and in my normal voice, which is, a bit loud, I said it could be closer to a month and a half to two months. I've been waiting 6 weeks and I still don't have it. Again, $3000!!!!! Eddie then came over and chastised me, told me to not yell in his store. Number one, didn't yell. I just spoke loudly. He is rude, not helpful and I will never, ever set foot in that store again so you're welcome Eddie.
