Further, I was advised that I should/could pay $300 ( the amount needed to complete my contract) & then pay the tax on a new phone & enter into a new contract. Before giving up & stsrting a new contract, I decided to visit the store in Torrance. I am so glad I did. The employee there cleared the "viruses" & advised me about how to avoid problems with this phone. It is "working" just fine & I am avoiding the sites that are not what they purport to be able to do. The Hawthorne store employees have always been a valued resource. Their efficiency is very much appreciated.

For some reason, they decided to add both a primary and business line, unasked causing my calls and messages to not go through. I have yet to fix the issue but I am hesitant to go back to Verizon after seeing how badly they screwed up the first time. My mom also had many issues with Verizon when it came to her bill as they claimed it would only raise by $6 due to a deal but ended up raising it by $150. They seemed so helpful in the store but when we got home it was just one disaster after the other. My mom wanted to fix all of her issues the day after it happened (as she had more issues then what is listed here) but was forced to waste 2 hours trying to fix everything, and there are still remaining issues. It felt like a bait and switch, that what they told us and what we ended up with were not the same at all. Overall, it was a bad and frustrating experience that could have all been easily avoided.
