- SPSalvador PereaDec 27, 20241.0I paid off two Samsung devices from another service provider ($1800) to trade them into Verizon for a promotion of $1000 off each new iPhone. They messed up so bad on the new Verizon lines that we only received a trade in value of about $450 for each traded phone. No promotion was applied and by the time we talked to the district manager that was working out of the broadway store who said she would try to fix it, but nothing was promised and nothing was actually accomplished. Sadly the manager told us this is something that happens often with the staff at this location and she was visibly upset by the frequent occurrence. Verizon ended up costing me way more out of pocket of my hard earned money. I guess this is the service we get even as first responders. Terrible!
