Penitentiary Glen Reservation features forest, fields, wetlands and 8.5 miles of hiking trails and has been designated by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife as a “Watchable Wildlife” site. Other activities and amenities to enjoy are birding, interacting with nature in Nature Play, a children’s outdoor wild play space or snowsoeing through the park (weather and conditions permitting). Inside the Nature Center, discover the wildlife found in fields, wetlands and forests in the interactive Life Cycle Secrets exhibit. The Nature Center is open 9 am to 5 pm every day.
