I am a new member, and unfortunately my last two visits have involved unhelpful staff and very brief interactions that made me feel as though asking questions was a bother.
Today, I brought a friend to check out the facility, and the experience again fell short of what I expected. The front desk advised there was a guest fee, which I do not mind paying. However, during my previous two visits with guests, no fee was ever mentioned, so the inconsistency was confusing. Another staff member was called from the back, and she also stated there was a fee.
Beyond the fee itself, the overall demeanor and environment have not felt welcoming. Based on the positive feedback and hype from coworkers and friends who attend Sports and Wellness locations, I expected a much friendlier and more professional experience (given the prices we are paying/ discounts or not).
The interaction today was disappointing enough that I chose to leave without completing my workout. I wanted to share this feedback because so far my experience has not met expectations.
In addition, I was charged for the full month’s membership without my employers discount and have yet to receive a reimbursement after a week.

I cancelled my membership last November, confirmed via a phone call from Tim at this location. He asked me about just taking a break and coming back in a few months. I said I would be open to a conversation in a few months to see if my financial situation improves. Now fast forward 6 months, no conversation and they charged my card on May 1. Their story now is that I agreed to a 6 month leave of absence. I DID NOT agree to any such thing. I believed and still do that I was cancelled as of November 30, 2025. I have emailed corporate and filed a complaint with the better business bureau. Next step will be to dispute with the CC company. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!

I came here because my home gym constantly has amenities out of order. This locker room is even more disgusting than Midtown. And the steam room has visible mold everywhere! It’s way over priced for what you actually get. The towel service doesn’t mean anything if the amenities don’t work

Excellent fitness center with a great overall experience. The gym has a wide range of equipment in good condition and plenty of space for training. Trainers are friendly, experienced, and always ready to assist with proper workout plans. The environment is clean, safe, and motivating. Members are respectful, and the atmosphere encourages consistency. Overall, it’s a perfect place for building fitness habits and staying healthy.

Lied to from beginning to end. The entire reason I joined was for their swimming pools. When I took the tour before joining I was assured it was very easy to get a lane at the time I got off work. The indoor pool is always packed with actual swimmers, the outdoor pool is always packed with tons of high school kids treating it like a pool at a park. After many attempts I decided it was way too expensive for almost never being able to use the pool. They make you go in to cancel the membership. Even though I only had a 3 month contract they charge you an extra month when you cancel which was me just throwing my money away cause I will not be going back anytime during the fourth month. So beware if you take a tour they put on an impressive show but it’s all lies and rip offs.
