RV park between Amarillo and Canyon. We are 15 minutes from Pal Oduro Canyon. We have 50, 30, and 110 hook ups. Laundry facilities, wi-fi and walking trail with plenty of room. Long and short term available.
We LOVED our stay at Rockindee! We stayed much longer than expected and Donna was always so accommodating and the nicest lady! She keeps the grounds looking great and the on-site laundry was a big plus. There are also fenced dog runs for your pup to play!
If you're thinking about staying a couple of weeks or long term, I highly recommend staying here!

There are several perks when staying at the RockinDee RV Park. Donna, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. I rolled in at 10 PM, and she didn't seem perturbed by my late arrival. She walked out to the site where I was to park. She made sure that I didn't need anything before returning to her office/home. While I was hooking up, Donna came back out and gave me the password for the Wi-Fi. She thought I might need it even though it was late. How kind and thoughtful.
There is an above ground storm shelter, and laundry room. There was a trash container at my site. Donna rents her sites for 24 hours. This was helpful for me, because I had business very early the next morning, and then needed to wait several hours before my next planned event. This gave me the option to go back to the park and stay until I needed to leave again. I could have stayed till 10 PM that next night had I wanted to.
The RockinDee RV Park is a newer park. There are small trees planted. After a few more years there will be much more shade. It's a little off the main roads, but worth the drive. All of my hook-ups were in good condition.
If I ever need to camp in the Amarillo area again, I'll return to the RockinDee RV Park. The price is very reasonable, the sites are flat, and Donna is a helpful and kind person.
