  If you’re looking for a masterclass in how NOT to run a business, congratulations — you’ve found it. My friend had a reservation for 10:00 AM. I wasn’t even the person renting the bike, I was just there to meet them. Simple, right? Apparently not for this place. We showed up right on time… and the shop looked like it had been abandoned since 1997. Lights off. Door locked. Zero humans. Zero communication. Not a text, not an email, not even a “Hey, we forgot how clocks work!” We waited over an hour. An hour of our lives we will never get back — standing there like we were trying to get into some exclusive club that clearly doesn’t exist. And the best part? They confirmed the reservation. They took the booking. They just… didn’t show up. Bold move for a business whose entire purpose is being open. This wasn’t a mistake. This was a showcase of world-class incompetence. If they ran a toaster, it would probably burn down the house. Do yourself a massive favor: choose literally any other bike rental shop in Portland. At least the others open their doors and acknowledge the existence of time, customers, and reality.

  Super fantastic, booked a bike for a Saturday ride only to be waiting for over an hour and no one has showed up to open the shop. Wouldn’t spend my money here again ever at this business as they had no respect for my time.

  I'm sorry, but it's strange to me how these are the most expensive bikes I've ever purchased and yet you can never get services completed in a timely manner. They are closed two days a week. It seems only two people even work in the shop. And then when you call for repair/maintenance estimates, they tell you loosely, "you'll have to drop it off" and not provide a pick-up time. Even if they do provide a pick-up time, they typically won't complete the repair by the estimate provided and continue to hold your bike for several more days. I mean come on guys, it's Portland. People use their bikes as their everyday commuters. You're the only Pedego location. Hire more people. Schedule more times to be open. With the amount I spent, I expected much better service. I will never purchase a Pedego again when there are so many other options that don't charge a premium for a brand name that doesn't live up to its reputation.

  Had a smooth, great experience. Jodi and Alex were very friendly and accommodating. The rentable trailers were great to bring our dogs along to your the city, and the electric bikes made getting around a breeze. They also had a tandem electric bike available, which was a lot of fun to ride.

  Outstanding customer service from Tommy and Jeff from the moment I walked in their store looking for an e-bike knowing nothing at all about them, to riding out the door a few hours later pretty knowledgable and real happy with my new LATCH! One hundred miles later, still thrilled with my truly amazing bike, I returned for my free initial service, and again Tommy and Jeff gave me all the time and attention I needed to make sure the bike and I were "tuned" up and ready for many more great riding adventures. It's an easy thing to sell an awesome product, but much harder to provide superior customer service. Sincere thanks to both Tommy & Jeff for doing both-and for the reassurance that they will be there for me whenever needed.
