For those who don't know, in sports, the yips are a sudden and unexplained loss of ability to execute certain skills in experienced athletes. I had served thousands of times no problem and all of the sudden the giant half of the court turned into the size of a postage stamp and I couldn't hit it if my life depended on it. People were giving me tips here and there, and I could serve a few times but nothing stuck, until I did a session with Linda, the pro at The Pickle Club. She was able to go back to basics and give me such a solid foundation for my serve that actually stuck! Now, weeks later, I am serving consistently and more importantly have gained my serving confidence back and am starting to put power and placement back into play. Thank you, Linda!
