I’m not sure what casino lets dealers call other players to the table but literally I’ve been in Kansas City a month and this is the only casino that I go to and sadly to say I keep losing and there’s this one table game, high card flush, and they have this dealer named Ree And he is unprofessional and he sucks. He literally called other players to the table who squeezed in between me and basically got my hand after I have been losing. I was already down $1000 and he thought it was funny.

A truly horrible experience. The best thing about the room was the shower as it was nice and spacious. The phone didn't work so I couldn't call down to the front desk. There was no room service available so i tried out one of the restaurants in the casino, The Hop House, and the food was inexpensive but bland. The room had a refrigerator but no microwave so bringing food back to the room for later is really out of the question. Argosy offered no premium channels like hbo or Showtime but you could rent movies for almost $30. Although my checkout was at 11 I ended up leaving around 1230am in the morning due to people being loud, roaming the halls and slamming doors. I will say the staff was nice and welcoming but I'll stay at the Super 8 across the street next time if theres no other option, at least I know what to expect.

I’m not sure if management has changed recently, but this was easily the worst casino experience I’ve had in Kansas City. Check-in alone took 45 minutes, and I was told three separate times that my room key had been “fixed.” I went all the way upstairs only to find out—three times—that the key still didn’t work. After taking eight flights of stairs back down again, I ended up waiting another 30 minutes in the lobby just to get into a room to kick the night off. The staff throughout the casino are either untrained, uninterested, or openly rude. Every simple question seemed like an inconvenience to them. The dealers were unbelievably slow, to the point where it affected the flow of the games. The entire place has a strange, low-energy vibe, and while casinos naturally attract some odd characters, this one feels especially mismanaged and unprofessional. What makes this even more disappointing is that I actually left the casino up over 4k so this isn’t coming from someone upset about losing money. The overall experience was just that bad. There are plenty of better casino options in KC. Don’t waste your time here until the management and staff undergo some serious changes.

I stay at the hotel 2 times about about every 3 or 4 months. Right now, there is road construction so getting to it is a little more difficult, thank goodness for gps directions. They are also remodeling the outdoor patio and hallway from hotel to casino and have moved Hops House to didn't location smile doing remodeling. You cannot go thru remodeling area in hallway so you either have to go outside and around to main entrance or go to floor 2, walk all the way to other end and take escalator down. This floor can be a little confusing until you've done it s couple of times. I eat at Hops House while there. Haven't had any issues with service or food. Fish snd chips, hurger and French dip were delicious. Rooms...well sometimes the bed is a little to soft, just my opinion. Ciuld use more than one packet of coffee, bathrooms have been clean. The problem seems to be with the curtains. I akways end up in a room where I'm trying to use the rods to close them, but they don't close because rods aren't attached. So I try pulling them closed but they won't move. Not such a big deal but this last time I was on first floor and window faced the parking lot. Theres been some other minor issues ...turn on lights by bed and the swung upside down, lighting behind headboard wouldn't turn off, and NO microwave in rooms. There is a small fridge.

Upon entering my room found 2 issues 1- entrance hall lights inoperable, 2- Safe was locked open and I couldn't use it. Called front desk to inform them of issues, rang 2-3 times then cutoff? Called operator informed her issues, she said she would resolve issues. Waited 90 minutes, nobody showed up. Went to casino, passed by front desk, so I stopped and reported issues to desk personnel. Which he (had purple tinted hair) apologized and said he will take care of situation, during that time another co-worker (young woman) came and listened to the issues, turned and upon walking away said very loudly "Emergency call maintenance" , and repeated it again. He told me to go back to my room and maintenance will be there shortly. Waited another hour nobody showed up, so I went to get food, and went back. Started eating and watching TV, fell asleep, woke up 12:30am lost my feelings to go to Casino went back to bed. Woke up early still lost feeling to gamble or eat breakfast, so I went home early that morning. Thinking about the whole incident felt like she was mocking me, and not playing with her co-worker
