  We really liked staying here. It's a great casino with lots of gaming options. It didn't have great restaurant options. There's a sports bar with regular pub style food, an Asian "kiosk" with take away and a Cafe style bakery with Gelato. I think this hotel/casino was once really diverse when it came to dining experiences but it just doesn't get the traffic it needs to support anything that would cater to "fine dining". The casino itself has one bar. It's a huge space so another bar would work very well there. The other thing about this place is that the outside needs some work. It's starting to look a little dilapidated. Small things that are noticeable but definitely need attention. This place is on par with some of the upscale places we've stayed in Vegas so it's a beautiful hotel and casino and I hate to see it starting to look a little rundown. The food was good and the service is great. I would go back.

  The website says this is a hotel AND SPA. Unfortunately, there is NO SPA, and the reason I picked this place was because I wanted to take my wife to a hotel and spa. This is definitely false advertisement and I am very upset about how our weekend turned out because of it and the fancy restaurant that I wanted to take her to was under construction. This is absolute B.S. The rooms dont look like what they show on the website either. UPDATE: I have noticed while reading other reviews(which I should have done BEFORE I booked a room) that there are alot of unhappy people posting bad reviews, yet the hotel does not seem to care. Its always the raw response that were sorry and we hope u come again. Like why? Why would we come again when we had a bad experience and no one ever did anything about it, not even a simple phone call to try to explain. This has got to be the WORST hotel experience in my life. I have had better experiences in a cheap motel. RIDICULOUS!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! Next time I will go to Oklahoma and stay at the hard rock. It is cheaper and the experience there is phenomenal EVERY SINGLE TIME.

  Visited this casino a few times. This time we decide to stay and make a night of it. Never will stay here again or eat . The restaurant was subpar food for the price. The service was was even worse. My wife and I were absolutely stunned how long everything took. From start to finish 2 hours . Had to even flag down someone to get out check or it would have been even longer. We moved on and moved forward. Went gambling ran into some very unfriendly people. Moved machines and they followed said something to what looked like a pit boss and nothing was done. Ended up going back to our room. It was loud all night never once a quit minute. We ended up leaving unfortunately left a brand new pair of shoes in the closet having to call them back. At that time I was told nothing was turned in and they would go check the room. No return call. Called back lady was rude and no surprise no shoes. Sucks never even got to wear my new kicks. Oh well Harrah's for the win always. Won't be go back to the Argosy. Sucks because I love gambling in KC but this is not how you treat customer.

  Love this place ! one thing bothered me ! I went in the mens room , was washing my hands and a security employee came out of the private room and walked out of the room, did not wash his hands . I finished , walked out on to the casino floor and there he was talking to a customer and shaking there hand !! . A couple hours later I was washing my hands in the restroom and a different employeee cams in , used the urinal , and walked out ! did not wash his hands . You need to explain cleanliness to your. employees

  Firstly, I made room reservations using my free room invitation & was told that the free rooms were all gone & they had $50 rooms available. I paid the difference & completed my reservation. I would be surprised if the Hotel had 30% occupancy. We checked into our room & called the front desk to let them know that the bathroom shower stall was full of long hairs. Frankly the room was filthy. They moved us to another room. It was also filthy. However, the bathroom was cleaner. The tops of the dresser, night tables & carpet were filthy. Dust was piled up in the corners. See the photos attached. The sheets were clean. The hallway carpet & the corners of all the rooms entry ways dust piled up. The beverage room floor had water all over from a leak in the ice machine. Someone had placed bath towels on the floor. the room should have been closed for the safety of the hotel guest. This is only a few of the photos I took. Do you need to see more!
