Shaun was professional and thorough helping me assess my feet and determine which was the best route for my situation - new boots vs custom fitting my existing boots. I appreciated the attention to detail as well as education during the process. And the fact that it didn’t feel like a sales process was much appreciated. He helped me make the right decision for my upcoming season and was patient as I weighed out my option. I’d go back and recommend others any time for boot work or new boots.

Thank you Ben and Sam in the Newton store for being the nicest, most informed, helpful and pleasant store workers I have ever had met. A couple months ago Ben spent over an hour with me and my boots to get the fit better and encouraged me to return if there was still an issue. After a ski trip to Bretton Woods on Thursday, I realized that my heel was too tight and I called and spoke with Ben, who said to come in- despite the full schedule- and that Sam, who had been a full time boot fitter, could help me.
No sooner did I arrive, that Sam appeared and worked me for over an hour to adjust my boots and talk skis and skiing. What a great team of workers and I commend you both. Your store is my go to ski shop and I thank everyone who said hello, smiled and showed extreme courtesy.

Just purchased my new ski boots in S&T. I had a great experience. Ryan was very knowledgeable and detail oriented. We spent some time discussing my preferences and skiing style and after he offered 3 different pairs of boots to try on. Going back and forth with additional measuring and movements Ryan made sure I left with the best one for me. I addition he offered to come back after skiing for a day or two and check how the boots are breaking in and to make additional adjustments if needed. Almost sorry I don't need new skis at the moment, as Ryan definitely poses all the expertise in that area as well. Very satisfied and looking forward to this ski season. Would highly recommend Ryan for custom approach to new ski equipment.
Ski and Tennis has been my go to place for years (mainly for ski and snowboard rental for two growing kids) - they are always friendly and knowledgeable.

I’ve had mixed experiences. The ski shop seems to do good work when they get it right, but they’re busier than they can handle and make frequent mistakes. For a recent rental they kept both rental boots to do a binding adjustment and then tried to only give me one boot back when I picked up the gear. It would have cost me a long drive if I hadn’t realized that I didn’t have the other boot at home and pushed them to look for the other one.
And last season I came in to get my bindings adjusted for rental boots. They refused to adjust them because the bindings weren’t indemnified (totally understandable), so I bought new bindings and paid for a mount. But when I came in to pick up the skis they had done a full release test on the old bindings and not even mounted the new ones that I had purchased in their shop. I had to wait another full week to get the mount done properly.

Ben was outstanding for boot fitting!! Did a great job fitting my unique feet and giving me options at different price points. This will definitely be my go-to place for skis for the foreseeable future :)
