My room was freezing. I told the front desk that something was wrong - my ac was turned off and yet cold air was pouring in my room. They did not offer to check it for me. I had to pull clothes out of my suitcase and sleep under the covers wearing most of the clothes in my suitcase. They did send me two blankets the next night. I put them on them on bed, but I still froze. I then decided to use the hair dryer to help keep me warm. I examined the room and noticed a rather big vent on my wall that ran up to the ceiling. Very cold air poured out of this vent and was the source of my problem. I told the front desk about the strange vent and they asked me why I had that vent. I have no idea why the vent was there --- I didn't put it there!! Never did they offer to move me to another room. Also I paid for a late check out for 1 pm. I went to my room at a 12:45 and the room was locked!!! I had to get an employee to let me in , but they didn't want to. I had a miserable stay in the hotel.

I booked the Executive King room. And they gave me the garden room 3rd floor facing that parking lot. The woman at the counter was not friendly, she made me feel like I was not welcomed and like she gave me the room out of charity. I still think of what happened and it's bothering me a lot.
Update:
I tried reaching out as you suggested, they send me to the front desk employee.
Don't worry about, this service is bad. No one care.

The desk in my room didn't look clean. I've never had this problem with Lauberge before. When o called to report it, I was told either housekeeping could come & clean it or I could move. Due to the nature of what I was seeing, I knew I would be moving, however I wanted housekeeping to see what I saw.
They did come in and suggested I request another room which I intended to do. But it was an inconvenience to stand in line initially for 45 minutes all to get a room that I wasn't comfortable staying in and having to return downstairs with all my luggage, wait in line again for another room.

Rooms were very clean. Nicely stocked with essentials. Love that they have full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash! Staff was friendly pillows were a bit too thick for me. Great as a body pillow but not to rest your head and neck. We have never had a bad experience. Great place to stay. The valet parking staff were very friendly and quick. The fire places as you enter are so delightful. The air freshener is very pleasant and immediately sets a nice vibe. The casino was clean not to mention every restroom I used. Such a great reflection of their hardworking staff. It is very much appreciated it.

I booked L' Abuerge Casino Resort because of all the glowing reviews, but from the moment we arrived, its been nothing but disappointment. Before checking in, I went online to confirm restaurant hours, which clearly showed they’d be open later—but when we got here, everything was already closed one to two hours earlier than advertised.
At check-in, things got even worse. I prepaid for my room through Trivago and had receipts to prove it, yet the front desk still tried to charge me an additional $220, instead of just the $50 incidental hold and $24 resort fee. They kept insisting I hadn’t paid, even though I literally showed them proof. On top of that, I paid for a king-size bed, and they repeatedly told me there weren’t any available until I pushed back and demanded what I booked—after over 12 hours of driving, no less.
The staff were generally standoffish and unhelpful, our casino credits didn’t even work, and all of their restaurants and bars close ridiculously early. I’m sorry, but if I’m staying at a casino, I expect to be able to eat or order a nice cocktail at 10 p.m.—not be told everything shuts down at 9. Even their pool hours aren’t accurate; the website says it opens at 8 a.m., but when we called this morning, they said it doesn’t open until 10.
After this experience, I truly regret not staying at the Golden Nugget next door. Their restaurants, bars, and amenities are open until at least midnight—the way a real resort should be. Everything advertised on La Berge’s website felt misleading, and it’s frustrating that no one seemed interested in making things right for guests.
The only redeeming part of our entire experience was a wonderful gentleman named Willie, who checks IDs in the casino. He was incredibly friendly and shared an awesome chat with us about nu-wave and post-punk music. He was the one bright spot in what was otherwise an absolute disaster of a stay.
Save yourself the headache and stay at the Golden Nugget. You’ll actually get what you pay for.
