If you're considering using DraftKings, think twice. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. They managed to completely botch my account setup by mixing it up with my wife's account, causing endless confusion and frustration. Despite submitting all the necessary documents multiple times, they still deprived me of my welcome bonus, which was one of the main reasons I signed up in the first place.
To make matters worse, trying to resolve this issue with customer service has been impossible. They refused to connect me to a live agent, leaving me stuck in a cycle of automated responses and empty promises. DraftKings has shown a complete lack of accountability and customer care, making them a company I cannot recommend. Save yourself the trouble and avoid them at all costs.

The wait staff were attentive. When I won, the security officer used her walkie talkie to get a person quickly to me. I then received most by check and the rest in cash. I played for hours. My husband and I finished our visit with a steak and crab cake dinner! Yum!

If you want to stay at the hotel, believe the reviews, and if you can afford it I'd advise you stay elsewhere.
If you NEED to stay here, here's a breakdown of my expirence staying here as a mid twenties women with her sister of a similar age.
Room
- Beds were clean and comfortable (no bugs)
- Carpet was weirdly sticky and stained
- Bedside lamp was broken and would flip down if touched
- Overhead light didn't work
- TV remote batteries dead
- One of the toilet seat hinges were broken
- Water pressure was fantastic
Service
- Front desk staff were fantastic
- Maintence man was so rude we didn't want to report problems in our room after discovering other issues
- They did have security outside in the parking lot, it didn't make us feel safe. We were followed to our car by someone in the parking lot at least once. The security felt performative.
Other
- Elevator maintaince certificates were not posted and one of the two was broken down for our 4 day stay
- The hotel is located in an industrial region and has nothing around it
Summary
- I didn't feel safe parking or outside the building, however the beds were clean and we felt generally safe once locked inside. I would stay hear again if I HAD to come to the city and had NO other options within my budget. If I come to visit the city again I will save more money and stay somewhere else.

Solid Stay With Great Service & Plenty of Perks
I recently stayed at the hotel/casino and I always have a good experience. The location is one of the best parts—super convenient, easy to find, and close to downtown, St.Louis. The room size was surprisingly spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made the stay feel a lot more relaxing. The River View side is always an amazing viewpoint.
I also want to spotlight Bre at the front desk. She truly went above and beyond from the moment I checked in.-checked out! Friendly, helpful, fast, and genuinely caring—she made the whole process smooth and made me feel valued as a guest.
Employees like her are a big part of why I’d come back. I’m always hoping she’s at the desk.
The casino and rewards program are also a huge plus. They’re very generous with food credits, and room comps, I had a $25 credit, $60 free slot play, which made the stay even more enjoyable. It was on their dime!! Between the hotel and casino I had a great night. Went to the slot floor and played some money and won on a game called Leprechaun Loot, and hit for like $1,000. Grabbed some really good food out the court, from That Chicken. It was hot and fresh! Perfectly crispy fried chicken sandwich, with the Nashville sauce. I always have enjoyed The Casino Queen
If you’re looking for a comfortable room, a great location, and a casino that actually rewards you, this hotel is a solid pick. Can’t wait till I get more more room comps and can stay again.

I booked around 10:30pm and made it around 11 to check in. Upon getting off the elevator to go to my room you could see stains on the carpet everywhere. The walls are dirty and when I went to my room I was also disappointed. After driving 8hrs all I wanted was to take a shower and go to bed. Instead I get a dirty room that has is covered with stains on the carpet, bad smell, and a dirty tub. The only thing clean was the sheets. I felt disgusted being in the room.on top of that when I checked it I pair an additional 100 which I know is a deposit however that was not stated on the site when I booked. I shortly went to the front desk and asked them if it was too late to cancel the room and she asked why and I explained to her and she said she would cancel it. Now I am having to find some place else to stay due to the false advertising of this place and it being so filthy. I am also worried when I will get my $329 I paid back due to me not even receiving a cancellation confirmation email. Imagine this disappointment a day after getting married…
Update- 11/18/25 I called and spoke with someone named Bre who was very rude and seemed liked she just wanted to argue. I explained to her what happened and how I was given misinformation and she kept saying “you’re not getting a refund” even after explaining multiple times she was very rude and rushed me off the phone. I even asked her was there anyone else I could speak to and she said no she is the manager and no on else is there. I am very disappointed in DraftKings and I feel they are scammers who false advertise the hotel and take people’s money when they cancel due to their hotel being unclean. I had high expectations considering how much draft kings has made and how reputable they are, their hotel is nothing like it. 0/10 would never recommend
