- S7supertramp 78Apr 22, 20251.0Well, this is my first time buying anything from camping world and i've been waiting a long time to get an exhaust vent, and I found one on clearance for seventy three dollars here in council bluffs iowa! So I was so excited. I walked there to purchase it. And I got a nice discount on top of the clearance price. And I did look in the box before I purchased it as it was already opened. But as this is my first exhaust vent install, I had no clue what I was looking at until I got home and started putting the pieces together and realized there is no hardware to attach the top of the unit to the base which is kind of important! But as I start putting more parts together, I realized the ring of the base. Is completely missing one of the screw holes and broken off! So that means I will one hundred percent have a leak! Unless I drill two new screw holes on each side of the crack, which means if I go to replace this unit in the future, my holes will not line up and I will have extra holes in my vehicle! And if that wasn't enough, and the icing on the cake is the fact that it's missing the inside garnish ring! And without the inside garnish ring, you cannot hold the adapter in place!! Oh, and I forgot to mention when I purchased this maxxfan dome "plus" which is in a maxxfan dome plus box. . . . It turns out to be just a maxxfan dome! Which I could purchase off of amazon or ebay for seventy six dollars brand new, with all the parts! And I know the lady who sold me this.I knew everything that was wrong with it because she went through it with the customer that returned it! So the point of this rant is, if they will treat a first time customer with this much disrespect, then how will they treat you? BEWARE!! AND IF IT WAS AT ALL POSSIBLE, I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS ZERO STARS!
