We’re a Gracie Jiu Jitsu academy located in Milton, GA – only a half hour north of Atlanta. Our academy teaches self-defense and sport Jiu Jitsu to practitioners of all ages and abilities in our family based atmosphere. Our head instructor, Professor Jamie Williams, has created a fun, safe, collaborative and social environment that welcomes everyone interested in training.
J3 is a member of The Pedro Sauer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Association (PSBJJA) - one of the oldest, largest, and most respected associations in the world today and is partnered with Gracie University. We are proud to be one of the few certified academies for the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council. J3 is also member of the BJJ Globetrotters community.
Our boys have been training at J3 for about a year, and the difference we’ve seen is remarkable. Jamie and Erica have created something truly special—an academy that teaches world-class jiu jitsu, but even more importantly builds confidence, discipline, resilience, and character.
What stood out most to me, especially after watching the team at a recent tournament, is the culture. Jiu jitsu is an individual sport, yet the camaraderie and team spirit at J3 is real. The kids push each other, train together to get better, and genuinely support one another—on and off the mats. Seeing that level of encouragement and unity in a competitive environment was incredibly impressive.
This is also a great place whether you want to compete or not. They welcome people of all ages and experience levels, and they run the academy like a family. The coaching is patient, intentional, and mentorship-driven, and it shows in the confidence our boys carry into everyday life.
I can’t say enough good things about J3. If you’re even remotely interested in jiu jitsu—for your child or for yourself—give them a try. You’ll be glad you did.

I have visited and trained at J3 on several occasions. Professor Jamie Williams and his crew are fantastic! They are an A typical example of a Pedro Sauer Association school. Great jiu jitsu, welcoming environment, and great gym culture.
If you live in the area or are visiting give these guys a visit, follow on social media! You will be happy you did!

Great academy. Stopped by for a drop in while visiting some family for Thanksgiving. Jamie was extremely welcoming as were all the other students. Very knowledgeable and well explained instruction. Thank you for the great experience and next time I’m in town I will definitely make it a priority to stop back in.
