If you’re looking for a winter retreat with a great pickleball program at a 5-star resort, Royal Coachman Resort in Nokomis is an excellent choice. It sits on beautiful Dona Bay and is only minutes from the beach. There are many activities to meet the needs of most residents, as well as a strong pickleball program that offers: Daily court time available to all residents Training programs for beginners up through 4.0-level players with a PPR-certified coach In-park tournaments three times each season Regular challenge matches It’s a terrific option for players who want both a warm winter escape and a serious pickleball community.

I was fresh out of back surgery and they kindly walked the check-in paperwork out to me. In fact Superstar Amanda in the office offered to send over Mike and Miguel to park me AND fasten my hookups. I cannot say enough about these guys -- mine was a super tight site and they worked hard to go through instructions and signal me in safely even if they had to move cars and pull a sign post to get it done. I was blown away by their respectful nature and fastidious efforts to get my stay off to a great start. These young men are peerless in their customer service and such a pleasure to deal with. To the Management I advise that you are lucky to have people like this. Thank you RCR for for making my stay 5-star from the very start and please try to hold on to these folks!

There is so much to do there, it is very well kept and they even have a dog wash area with a grooming tub. The beaches are not very far away. Walmart and Publix close by too!
