  Very tight spots. They cramp people in there with hardly any space in between. If you have a big rig, good luck getting in. The woman at the office was very rude and not accommodating. We ended leaving. Waste of time travel and money. It makes me think whether I made a wise decision with this thousand trails membership. I would avoid this place

  Close to downtown Eustis, nice size campsites, friendly people, lots of activities everyday. My only complaint is that there are very few bathrooms, and they are closed 3 hours a day for cleaning...but with that being said...the bathrooms are probably the nicest and cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen on a campsite! Also I feel very safe on this campgeound

  Just got to southern palms and all I can say is wow, this staff was incredible! I had a horrible day.. got terrible news first thing this morning, my daughter woke up middle of the night sick and with a fever, only 4 hours of broken up sleep, I didn't eat, it's hot today, then I couldn't get into my site correctly (which was my fault).. I called the office and the kind lady that answered didn't say it was my fault.. idk if she could here desperation in my voice or not.. she was just so sweet. I'm sure she knew it was my fault but didn't say that at all! Instead, she sent Miguel to my site. What an angel from heaven! I literally had a breakdown and those that know me, I rarely cry. I kept apologizing as I know it's not his fault and all I can say is his words and kindness gave me confidence everything was going to be ok. With that I was able to get into a spot, set up again, and finally eat something.. anyways, idk if they will see this but from a single mama having a bad day, just thank you so much! I am so very grateful to you both!

  When we first arrived, my group and I were allowed to move closer to eachother which was awesome. Being on a corner lot and not effecting any other sites or rigs in any way whatsoever, I turned my rig so that I was forming an L with my daughters rig. I stayed this way for several days and had absolutely no issues at all. Several days into our stay I was approached by what appeared to be a random guy very publicly and rudely about how I was parked and was told this was unacceptable. Again, this guy was extremely rude and discourteous. When I approached the office, I was given no viable reason as to why this was unacceptable. I stated that I was in no way effecting other sites or other rigs. I wasn't blocking other hookups. I was given lots of excuses but nothing concrete. As someone with severe anxiety, this entire incident was extremely triggering for me. I have found that my neighbors are really nice, and the facilities are also nice. Would have given 5 stars except for the issue of the placement of my rig. Due to the time of year of our stay, booking anywhere else wasn't an option. Overall, I reality liked it here but that one experience really set a negative tone for my entire stay. Once we leave the area in a few weeks, I won't be returning to this place again. They just left a bad taste in my mouth for future stays.
