Sunshine Key RV Resort and Marina is a unique resort with adjoining marina that offers the RV adventurer unprecedented access to a tropical island environment. Our Encore RV resort is located on the 75-acre island of Ohio Key, near Big Pine Key in the lower Florida Keys. It provides the perfect gateway for ocean activities, or just relaxing at the water's edge. There is great fishing right from this beautiful RV resort in Florida Keys.
Chartered Rentals LLC is our on-site watersports company that offers the following services to all of our guests; kayaks, stand up paddle boards, jet ski tours, snorkeling, sandbar trips, sunset cruises, reef fishing and offshore fishing.
For nearby ventures off the island, Bahia Honda State Park and its award-winning beach is only a mile away from our RV resort in Florida Keys. Second year we had stayed here wish I could give more stars, happy hours, on site food truck, everything you could want. My only complaint would be the amount of people using the beach for dog walking, everyone picked up waste only one person did not clean up, people swim and picnic here, they have a dog walking area and a dog play area. I would suggest no dogs in beach area.

- COChris OteriNov 4, 20255.0Our favorite place to RV in the Keys. Depending on site selected, you'll pay between $100-$200 a night. We get the Elite Waterfront sites that put you right on the beach. Considering the amenities you have access to and that it is in the Keys, the price is not even comparable to other lodging options anywhere down there. They also have RVs and Tiny Homes to rent as well, not sure on pricing but I remember it being very reasonable. The amenities are great: playground, soccer field, basketball court, heated pool, game room (air conditioned), events each night, covered pavilion area, resident BBQ food truck, marina, marina store (bait, beer, ice, snacks), laundry facility ($2.50/load) wash and dry (credit card access for laundry, so no need to lug pounds of quarters around) golf cart friendly grounds, kayak rentals, and a gas station next door with diesel ($3.45/gallon) which was thr middle of the road when we were there (3rd week of October 2025). This place has it all and the staff is awesome. Easy check in, and employees will lead you to your site and guide you in if you're a newbie. Full hook ups...I'm sure I've missed something but to sum it up, this place has it all, it's the most cost effective option in the area and it's absolutely beautiful...oh, and quiet...it's not rowdy at all.
